Ella’s all about bold branding and thoughtful web design, with a real knack for crafting visual identities that feel just right. She kicked things off with an Art Foundation at Manchester School of Art, then fast-tracked her way into the industry via Shillington – where she now also teaches the next wave of designers.
She’s got a sharp eye for detail, a soft spot for great typography, and a real talent for building brands that feel effortless. When she's not designing, she's probably eating a burrito somewhere.
The team honestly feels more like a family. We’re relaxed, we laugh a lot, but we get sh*t done - and we’re all genuinely passionate about the work we create. Everyone pushes each other to do better, and the variety of projects means no day is ever the same. One day it’s fashion, the next it’s healthcare, hospitality, or something totally new - keeps things fresh and exciting.
Tough one! Every project brings something different to the table, but my all-time faves have to include: Gary Neville, Rise at Seven, and Found. No doubt this list will change soon!
Not quite - I actually wanted to be a sniffer dog handler when I was younger (watching too much border security, probably). But I’ve always been creative and obsessed with anything arts and crafts-related. After doing an art foundation course at Manchester School of Art, I realised design was 100% what I wanted to do. I skipped the uni route and studied full-time at Shillington instead, and never looked back.
Because we actually love what we do - and it shows. We get genuinely excited about your project (yes, even the small bits), and we’re with you the whole way. Plus, we make ridiculously good brands and websites. Did I mention that?
I'm rarely sat still, to be honest. I’ve recently added a chaotic little puppy to my life (cute, but total trouble). There’s usually some kind of DIY project on the go at home, and my surprisingly thriving allotment keeps me busy. I love being outdoors, usually hiking in the Peaks or Lakes when I can, and I’m always up for a bit of travel. When I’m not out exploring, I’m in the kitchen cooking or baking (currently deep in a sourdough phase), checking out new food spots, or getting way too competitive at badminton. Basically, a grandma trapped in a 20-something’s body. Not mad about it.
