I started just a couple of months ago as Project Manager/Illustrator here at Shape as part of my placement year for my Illustration course at University.
I like how I get to work on illustration projects as well as interacting with clients and working on business development projects at the same time, so I’m definitely never bored. Also the team here at Shape are really great to work with and so are our lovely clients. The studio is a really fun, chilled out place to be and I genuinely enjoy coming to work everyday, I just wish there was better music taste in the studio haha (sorry guys).
Mostly instagram. I follow loads of design agency, graphic design and illustration accounts and scrolling through there always gives me ideas to work with. I also like using Pinterest and Behance to spark new ideas for projects so I can take elements from a variety of different designs and use them to create something unique in my own work.
I’m a real foodie and my favourite thing to do is try out new restaurants. I love Manchester because there’s such a range of different food places to try. Apart from that I enjoy going to the gym and doing yoga, as well as meeting up with friends as much as I can.
Everyone here really loves what they do and I think that comes across in the work we produce, but also because of how friendly we all are! The team here are all really lovely and I think this is such an important trait to have in a company.
