Earlier this year we launched a brand new website for Noramble, a Manchester based independent packaging design studio who specialise in all things branding, packaging and brand strategy.
Founded by Daniel Poll, a Salford University graduate who worked as an in-house junior packaging designer for CPG brands, designing everything from secondary packaging to primary packaging to labels.
In 2020 after five years in the industry, Noramble was founded with a belief that “packaging design isn't just a box, a carton or a label – it's a powerful storytelling experience.”
We were approached by Daniel who believed his current website was dated, lacked originality and needed a complete overhaul. The new website is modern, minimal yet has functionality that allows Noramble to showcase their complete portfolio as it should be.
The website was built around our own Craft CMS framework which gives us the freedom and flexibility to design a bespoke website, allowing us to design and build the site however best fit the clients brief.
Although the website is small in relation to some of the ones we work on, it holds lots of creativity throughout. We decided that it would be beneficial for the client to design a very minimal website in appearance to allow their work to shine through. We've added small animations and hovers to add to the user experience.
Here at Shape, we offer a monthly plan called Shape Support which allows clients to use our time each month to continuously improve the website, fix bugs, maintain the brand etc.
After we'd finished building and launching the website, Noramble wanted to take advantage of using us to build their online presence, and part of that strategy is to improve organic SEO performance over the next 12 months
