Have you always wanted to be an Account Manager?

When I was growing up I wanted to be a marine biologist but as I got older the sea started to scare me a bit so I wrote that idea off. I love talking, I love people and I love organising so when I first heard about account managing I knew I had to try it. I loved it from the get go and really do think that this is the perfect role for me!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I bought a 100+ year old cottage 2 years ago which has taken a bit of work/time and with a big passion for interior design, it’s been a lot of fun. I love spending time with family and friends so a lot of my free time is spent with them. I enjoy gardening and have a huge herb garden, that needs quite a bit of attention. I like yoga but haven’t quite mastered a headstand yet. Being able to be at a beach or going for a good hike somewhere is the perfect day for me. And if I could eat cheese and drink red wine all day long, I would!

It looks like you're new here, what brought you to Shape?

I’m the newest team member, started today actually, and there are quite a few reasons I wanted to work here:

• I wanted to be in a place where the work produced showed the passion people had for what they do.
• A big variety of clients broadens your interests and means you never get bored.
• Having a fresh, energetic and vibrant approach to things is really important to me.
• Being in a smaller type agency means you can really get to know all your colleagues and clients.
• Finally…the studio is a beautiful space to work in and who doesn’t like being taken out for lunch occasionally!

You’re not from around here, are you?

Nope, I was born in Spain, my mums French and dads English. I moved to London when I was 2, left at 20 to live in Asia and Australia where I then stayed on for 5 years, had another 4 year stint in London and then moved to Lancashire just as the pandemic hit in 2020. I absolutely love it here and am staying put now!

What’s your ideal project?

I enjoy working on projects with meaning, so charitable causes are always really interesting, inspiring and exciting to work on, something interior design related would be fun and anything to do with food also wins for me as I love food!
